The ProteoSuite Project

The development of ProteoSuite consists of two main layers: analyzer (Figure A) and visualizer (Figure B). In the context of quantitative analysis, X-Tracker developed by Cranfield University is being used as the core of the application for data analysis (Figure A). X-Tracker was originally designed to perform analysis of iTRAQ-based experiments and has been recently extended to incorporate other quantitation techniques. For the visualizer framework (Figures B1-B4), we have included three different viewers in this first beta version: Spectrum (Figure B2), Chromatogram (Figure B3) and 2-Dimension (Figure B4) Viewers. Additionally, a timeline for next releases is shown in Figure C.
